This system is made up of heavy duty overhead conveyors and conveyor systems designed to carry hogs through the scalding and bleed out process. It is an automated operation from shackling to dehairing. This complete system includes the 6" roller I-Beam conveyor, 6" trolleys on 24" centers, rollers, drives, traction wheels, sprockets, scald tanks, and other necessary components. Millard's Gambrel Table is a moving top table made of heavy duty stainless steel upon where the hogs are unshackled, correctly oriented and gambreled. Our Gambrel Table is of the same construction as our Shackle Table except for the width that is 6' instead of 4'.
Our Hog Chute starts the lead-in for processing the hogs. Smooth sides enable drivers to keep hogs moving quickly and quietly towards stunning. The Chutes are available in any length and are constructed of heavy gauge structural pipe. Slip resistant operator platforms and hog surfaces come standard or can be customer specified.
Our Hog Head Spike Conveyor increases work efficiencies by a paced line allowing the consolidating of snout marking, temple and cheek chiseling, head meat removal and other works.
Millard's Hog Head Workup Table follows the head spike line where workers segregate the head into distinct meat lines and associated conveyors. Each worker has a workstation adjacent to these lines.
Millard's automated "Hog Jaw and Snout Puller" is faster, safer, and more sanitary than any other machine in the industry. The patented snout and jaw removal system automatically removes the snout inline prior to jawbone separation. Millard's Viscera Inspection Tables provide a sanitary moving pan for inspecting the internal organs of the hogs. They are built in various lengths to conform to conditions at installations and rate of speed. 12" wide x 30" long stainless head pans and 4" wide x 30" long stainless viscera pans standard and can be synchronized with overhead chain.
Our Intestine Workup Trough is designed to squeeze out and capture the mucosa from the linings of pork intestines.

The Salt Tables contain a water based salt bath to disinfect the linings from harmful bacteria. Pork Intestine Linings are pulled through the salt bath and wound or gathered up on reels for sale or transport to "further processing" facilities.
Our heavy duty scald tanks are custom designed to fit your layout and process. We Include water circulation piping, valving, and drain and overflow connections as required. The scald tub can be mounted on custom frames.
The Shackle Table provides a heavy duty moving surface where stunned hogs are shackled by the hind feet onto an overhead chain conveyor prior to the scald tanks. Our Shackle Table is of the same construction as our Gambrel Table but is 4' wide versus 6'.
Our Stack Rail System is a gravity system designed for holding hogs prior to processing and engaging into the main overhead chain system. We can provide this complete queuing system including beams, rails, rollers, switches, indexers, and other associated components. V-Restrainer is a V-shaped restraining system which conveys and holds the hog in a still upright position for smooth and efficient stunning. Hogs walk into the restrainer and are carried by the belts forward.
