Millard custom builds Augers and Screw Conveyors supporting a wide variety of applications for moving and/or mixing products from one operation to another or into storage containers, transport hoppers, combos, vats, drums, etc. Our augers are made with heavy duty stainless steel following our "Safety and Sanitary Design Standards". Carbon construction is available for less sanitary conditions and needs. We offer a wide range of sizes (most common are 6", 9", 12" and 20"), and most custom sizes available.

We are a licensed manufacturer and licensed supplier of conveyors employing Intralox Activated Roller Belt(ARB™) technology. ARB technology is used to automate process flow and can be applied to a wide range of applications for turning product, 2 to 1 and 2 to 2 switching, merging, diverting, sorting, dividing, aligning, and 90 degree transferring. Millard and Intralox can custom design a box conveyor for your specific application that will include the standard features of our heavy duty sanitary belt conveyors.
The Product Chiller cools product, usually meant for pet food applications, from kill floor temperature down to just above freezing in a continuous and efficient manner to prepare it for packaging into combos and loading into coolers. The Product Chiller is comprised of a revolving drum, a cooling system, and a baffle assembly. Chilled water, which is recovered, is used to uniformly cool the product as it moves gently through a rotary chilling tunnel (revolving drum). As the product moves through the tunnel it is continuously turned and exposed to the chilling solution providing a uniformly controlled and regulated cooling rate. Larger products such as beef livers may require a pre-chiller (slasher) machine that opens up product for increased uniform chilling. Configurations are available for different tonnage requirements and for both edible and inedible applications.

Vertical Spiral Conveyors are often used to remove heat introduced into the product or container in prior processing. Millard's Container Cooling prepares the product for the next process; filling, freezing, packaging or shipping. Our Cooling operations are custom designed in various heights, widths, and diameters with variable speeds and timing belts.
